Selection

Every film is reviewed against the published eligibility requirements and evaluation criteria.

  1. 20th to the 20th two months later

    1. Intake and eligibility

    Runtime, screener access, entry details, required rights, and subtitles are checked.

  2. After the final deadline

    2. Award-criteria review

    Each film is considered against the criteria relevant to direction, writing, cinematography, performance, production, and the other awards.

  3. Notice on that month-end

    3. Finalist selection

    Award candidates are selected from each division, notified of their nomination on the last day of the final-deadline month, and advanced to the final round.

  4. Before the event day

    4. Final selection

    The shortlisted films are considered again before the winner of each award is selected.

  5. Announced at the event on the 15th

    5. Publication and notification

    Results are announced at the in-person event on the 15th of the month after the final deadline, with certificates and laurels provided to winners.
